Yesterday evening, one of the ugliest pages of French football and world football in general was written. During the Ajaccio-OM match, a game whose value was equal to zero, given the already consolidated placements of the two teams, an 8-year-old boy named Kenzo was attacked along with his family by some local supporters . His fault? He was a fan of OM and wore their shirt. To make matters worse, the child is sick with cancer.

Embarrassing, creepy, disgusting. There are no other epithets to describe what happened in the stands of Ajaccio's François Coty Stadium. The club from Corsica had decided to welcome the members of a charity association for the last match of Ligue 1. Little Kenzo, sick with cancer and a fan of Olympique Marseille, is part of this association. And so, the fact that the 8-year-old and his family were wearing the jersey of Marseille, led to the attack of some pseudo-fans of the locals.

Ajaccio explained the shameful incident with a statement: “On April 25 we had the pleasure of hosting the association 'Des coccinelles rouges pour Thomas' at the François-Coty stadium. Among the children of this association was little Kenzo, sick with cancer. He had expressed his dream to meet the players of Marseille, the club of his city and his heart. So Kenzo and his family were invited to the stadium on the initiative of the Rotary Club and the president of Air Corsica, so that the child could realize a dream".
