Lazio returned to the top four in Serie A thanks to a dramatic 2-1 win over Milan at San Siro. The decisive goal came from a last-minute penalty by Pedro, giving Baroni's side their seventh win in their last 11 away matches in the Italian league.

Lazio were more demanding in the opening minutes, putting goalkeeper Maignan in trouble. Lazio striker Dia had two good chances but failed to put the ball in the net. Isaksen also tried a shot that went wide.

Furthermore, this was Milan's first defeat in the last nine Serie A home matches and their third in a row in the championship, a statistic that had not been recorded for the Rossoneri since February 2023. This result only adds to the pressure on Milan coach Sergio Conceição, who must find a way to get the team out of this crisis before it is too late.
