Coach Tedesco debuts with a victory in Albania U-17

Albania U-17 won the first friendly match against Luxembourg U-17 with the result 3-1. At the Vora stadium, the red and black dominated the match and the goals were scored by Kris Gecaj and Gabriel Kulla (x2). This was also the first match with the National U-17 team for the new coach Andrea Tedesco, who debuted with a win on the red and black bench.

Coach Andrea Tedesco started the match with Luxembourg U-17 with this starting line-up: Daniel Culi (GK), Fabian Nuhaj, Kris Gecaj (C), Darli Kurti, Lukas Cekrezi, Andreas Llana, Alen Vukaj, Enis Redzepi, Rikardo Sheji, Gabriel Kulla and Leon Myrtaj.

The Luxembourg team reduced the score in the 63rd minute. However, the Reds and Blacks did not slow down and sealed the victory in the 83rd minute. Gabriel Kulla scored the third goal with an 11-meter and his second personal goal in this meeting. In the end, the first friendly challenge ended with the victory of Albania 3-1.

The second friendly match Albania U17 - Luxembourg U17 will take place on Friday, September 6 at the "House of Football", at 10:00.

The friendlies are a good opportunity for coach Tedesco to validate the final group he will have within the qualifying matches of the "Albania 2025" European Championship, which will be played in October in our country. The Reds are positioned in Group 3 along with the Netherlands, Croatia and the Faroe Islands.
