Tirana loses another player, sold for 150 thousand euros

Marsel Ismajlgeci is no longer the player of Tirana. The captain has left the team and will be transferred to Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Zrinjski Mostar team, the team that Tirana faced in the Europa Conference League qualifiers, "SuperSport" reports. From this transfer, Tirana will benefit 150 thousand euros.

Ismajlgeci is the second important departure from the champions of Albania after Redon Xixha, who will continue his career in Azerbaijan at Qarabag.

The 22-year-old is a product of the Tirana academy and since the 2020/2021 season he has been the undisputed starter for the white and blue, giving his contribution to winning the championship title.

Also this season, Ismajlgeci has played 16 challenges and leaves, leaving Tirana in the first place of the ranking with one point more than the second place held by Partizan.

Tirana is quite active in the market, as it has formalized the approach of Regi Lushkje and Kristal Abazaj. In the meantime, Sherif Kallaku has left the team and only the officialization of Redon Xixha and Marsel Ismajlgec is expected as the next departures from the "white and blue".
