The Mayor of Shkodër Benet Beci has held a meeting with the President of the AFL, Armand Duka.

During the meeting, the deplorable condition of the "Loro Boriçi" stadium was discussed, which needs an intervention to return it to optimal conditions.

Concrete projects for the construction of sports grounds for the Vllaznia Football Club and the U-17 national teams that will be part of Shkodra in 2025 were also presented.

"With the President of the ALF, Mr. Armand Duka took concrete steps for the construction of sports fields for the Vllaznia Football Club and the U-17 national teams that will be part of Shkodra in 2025. The former wire factory will be turned into a complex for sports and youth. We also discussed together the condition of the "Loro Boriçi" stadium, which needs an intervention to return it to optimal conditions, as the most important investment that the AFL has made in Shkodër.",< a i=1> writes Beci on social networks.

During the meeting, the Duke expressed his support for the presented projects.

"The stadium is in a miserable condition. It is a stadium that was built about 3 years after Elbasan, if you see the stadium of Elbasan you laugh, while your stadium cries. We are ready from a financial point of view for what belongs to the football field to start tomorrow.", said Duka./

Regarding the meeting, there was also a reaction from Duke, who appreciated the willingness of Mayor Beci to support football.

"A very constructive meeting with the Mayor of Shkodër, Benet Beci, with whom we discussed cooperation and infrastructural projects important for the development of football. We talked about finding the best formula for the most efficient management of the "Loro Boriçi" stadium, for the project of building a modern sports complex in cooperation with the AFL and the Vllaznia club, which would give it a big boost football in Shkodër, as well as for the organization of several matches of the 2025 European Championship for the age of U-17 in Shkodër.
