Xuliano Skuka is the most expensive player in the history of Albanian football. The attacker moved from Partizan to Metz for the figure of 1.4 million euros. The player gave an interview to "Supersport" where he showed how he was received in France. When talking about the moment he was held hostage, Skuka remembers the match between Dinamo and Teuta, as the coach removed him in the 43rd minute of the match, before the first half was even over.

“Ndihem i vlerësuar, pasi u bëra lojtari më i shtrenjtë. E dija që do të arrija lart, pasi kisha shumë besim te cilësitë e mia dhe te puna ime, ndaj e prisja. Fakti që kam jetuar këtu dhe që njoh mirë gjuhën, më ka ndihmuar shumë, në çdo gjë. Si në stërvitje, në të kuptuarit e ushtrimeve, në komunikim e çdo gjë tjetër.

Metz? Janë të gjithë djem të rinj, përveç 3-4 lojtarëve me eksperiencë. Të gjithë janë djem të mirë, mosha ime dhe ndihem shumë mirë. Si ekip ka shumë cilësi, ka shumë teknikë, por ndoshta mungon pak agresiviteti. Gjëja e parë që më tha trajneri, është se kishte vlerësuar shumë agresivitetin te unë dhe priste që ta shpalosja në fushë, apo ta transmetoja edhe te shokët e skuadrës.

My objective is to give my best and do the same as at Partizan. I hope I do well here, but why not at the National Team as well. I will do everything to become a permanent part of the National Team. I have achieved something, but I still have a lot of work to do. I have to keep this level and why not, grow even more.

The worst moment of my career was in the match between Dinamo and Teuta, when I was substituted in the 43rd minute. I said there that I will do my best to prove everyone wrong. Luck is definitely important, but most of all is confidence. You have to believe in yourself, in your abilities and in your work", said Skuka.
