Skënderbeu "wakes up" at the end of the transfer window,

In the final hours of the transfer window, Skënderbeu has been one of the most active teams, making five important approaches.

One of the new players who has joined Skënderbeu is Egyptian striker Saleh Nasr, a well-known name in Albanian football. He has been part of Teuta, but will now wear the red-and-white jersey. In the last match between Teuta and Vllaznia, Nasr was present on the bench, but did not play, giving signals for a possible departure that was later finalized.

In addition to Nasri, Skënderbeu has secured the services of Amadu Sabo. He is a Nigerian midfielder who comes from Hammarby, Sweden. He will join the team in the coming days and is expected to bring freshness to the Korça midfield. The 20-year-old Sabo is a promising player and has played three matches with the Nigerian national team in the past. Last season he played on loan in Finland with the Mariehamn team, where he played in 21 matches and scored 1 goal.

Another reinforcement for the midfield department is Altin Ukici, a 19-year-old from Kosovo, who previously played with Liberec B in the Czech Republic and before that with the Zadar youth team in Croatia.

In addition to the midfield, Skënderbeu has also invested in the offensive department, bringing in three new attackers, with the clear aim of filling the void left by Rashica's departure.

In this department, besides Saleh Nasri, 26-year-old Brazilian Joao Felipe and 20-year-old Gambian Benson Jang have also been approached.

Felipe has played his entire career in Brazil and is a winger, capable of covering both sides of the attack. His ability to play in several positions has convinced Skënderbeu's management to bring him in. Last season, he was part of the Ypiranga and Joinville teams, where he scored 10 goals.

With these approaches, the number of new transfers to Skënderbeu rises to seven, as the team had previously secured the services of Estrela and Lukina.

These changes make Skënderbeu a much more competitive team, especially in the battle for survival. Coach Ernest Gjoka now has a more complete group of players at his disposal and will aim to get the most out of them to move the team out of the danger zone in the standings.
