Weightlifter Erkand Qerimaj has brought serious charges against the president of the Albanian Weightlifting Federation, Elez Gjoza. The Albanian record holder declares that the head of the FSHP has hidden several cases of doping and demands his immediate resignation.

Qerimaj says that there is evidence that proves this and that new elections are needed in the FHP since Gjoza is wasting taxpayers' money.

"The latest scandal in the weightlifting federation, the latest case of an athlete caught with doping has been kept hidden by the federation and the institutions to protect the Federation and Elez. The idea is that Elez Gjoza should resign immediately and new elections should be held. He leads the Federation since 2013 and has served 3 mandates with many scandals.
