Sarri, "enraged" after the defeat against Inter, burst into criticism towards two of his players in the dressing room

The defeat against Inter was experienced very badly by the Lazio players and staff. The Red and Blues had the challenge in control as they were in the lead and in case of victory, they would have probably avoided a rival for a place in the Champions League.

Therefore, the "fury" of coach Mauricio Sarri after the end of the challenge was understandable to some extent. "Il Messaggero", the media which is close to the Roman club, informs that he entered the dressing room angrily and burst into criticism towards his players after the meeting, highlighting the mistakes they made in the last minutes allowing the game to get out of hand.

The same sources emphasize that this was an unusual behavior of the coach who was rarely seen so angry with his players. There were two names that he targeted and criticized more publicly in front of the team. Milinkovi?-Savi? and Luis Alberto were the ones who faced the fury of the coach, who had described as unacceptable the fact that they had slowed down the pace in the second half and, especially, had neglected their defensive duties, not helping the team.
