The President of the Swiss Federation visits the "House of Football",

The President of the Swiss Football Federation, Dominique Blanc, paid a two-day visit to Albania. During this visit, he was received by the President of the Albanian Football Association, Armand Duka, the Secretary General of the Albanian Football Association, Ilir Shulku, and the Administrative Director of the Albanian Football Association, Aldi Topçiu.

The purpose of the visit was to exchange experiences and discuss various projects between the federations.

The head of the Swiss Federation inspected the premises of the “House of Football”. He saw up close the training grounds, the training center for the national team, the internal administration premises and the museum, where he had the opportunity to learn about the history of Albanian football.

The Swiss Federation has a program to build a sports center and for this reason President Blanc was very interested in visiting the House of Football in detail.

In a statement to fshf.org, President Blanc expressed his admiration for the achievements of the Albanian Football Federation, especially the "My Uniform" project, where the Federation offers free training materials to young people who become part of football.

"First of all, I want to thank you very much for the invitation. I am very impressed by what I have seen here, a federation with great development, with very modern means to develop football in Albania. I have seen everything. I am particularly impressed by the fact that the Federation offers young footballers a complete set of basic training materials for free. This is the first time I have heard of something like this and I want to congratulate you. I also noticed that in every sector of football there is a strong development and willingness to take football forward. I have very good impressions" - said the head of the Swiss football government, while recalling, among other things, the Albania - Switzerland match, played on June 11, 2016 in the "Euro 2016" finals in Lens, France.

"I would say that the most interesting story I have with Albanian football was the famous match with Switzerland in 2016 in France, where your national team participated for the first time in the finals of a European Championship. A fantastic match in Lens, France, between Albania and Switzerland. We must not forget that we have many Albanians living in Switzerland. In that match on the field with Switzerland, there were players of Albanian origin. The match was of a very high level, there were also many emotions. And this is the friendship that football offered us at that time", emphasized Dominique Blanc.
