Pep Guardiola explains the strange celebration after the victory over Liverpool

Second-half goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish secured victory, but it was the equalizer that sparked celebrations.

Guardiola was caught celebrating in front of Liverpool substitutes Joel Matip, Konstantinos Tsimikas and Arthur Melo who were warming up.

In his post-match press conference, Guardiola explained his celebration, telling a reporter: “I was happy and I said how beautiful our goal was.

“Ask him [Tsimikas] if I was disrespectful. I celebrated with my son and having said that it was such a beautiful goal. Do you think it was disrespectful?” to which the journalist replied: "Yes". "I'm sorry," Guardiola replied.
