It seems that this year is not good at all for Gerard Pique. Pike had bought a plot of land in Malaga for about 20 million dollars and after many years of trying, he had secured permission to build a luxury hotel there. But the project has been stopped for the time being, as 250 graves were discovered during the excavations on this property, causing the archaeologists to start work on this construction site now and not the workers who were supposed to build the hotel.

"We have excavated about 250 graves, most of which are empty," explained archaeologist Alberto Kumpian. "Most likely, these graves were never used and are not worth preserving. This is one of the largest cemeteries discovered for the period of the Nazari kingdom," he continued.

It is expected that the emptying of the graves and their complete relocation will give the green light to Pike's project in January, always if there are no other surprises.
