Friendly/National U-17 is defeated 3-0 by Luxembourg

The Albanian U-17 national team played today the second friendly meeting with Luxembourg U-17. The match played in the "House of Football" ended with the victory of Luxembourg with the result 3-0.

Coach Tedesco started the match against Luxembourg with this starting line-up: Daniel Culi (GK), Fabian Nuhaj, Kris Gecaj (C), Darli Kurti, Ernesto Marqueshi, Andreas Llana, Evangelos Gjoka, Alen Vukaj, Enis Redzepi, Gabriel Kulla and Emiljano Mihana.

Albania U-17 started the match better, but lacked luck in several clear chances to score. When everything was going towards the end in the first half, the friends unlocked the score and the first fraction ended 1-0.

The second half started with some changes for Albania, while Luxembourg also scored the second goal. The Reds tried to react but without success. The Luxembourg team also scored the third goal. In the end, the second friendly ended 3-0 for the friends.

The friendly matches with Luxembourg were a good opportunity for coach Tedesco to assess the condition of the players, as well as to approve the final group he will have in the qualifying matches of the European Championship "Albania 2025".

The Reds are positioned in group 3 together with the Netherlands, Croatia and the Faroe Islands, while the matches will be played in October in our country.
