Milot Rashica shows the similarities between Albanians and Turks

Milot Rashica gave a long interview to the official website of his new club, Besiktas, through which he talked about his intentions with the giant from Istanbul and about many other things and details.

Meanwhile, the Kosovar star also stopped to talk about the things he likes the most in Turkey. He sees a great similarity between Albanians and Turks in many aspects, that's why he says that he had no problem adapting to Istanbul, and above all acclimatization with food.

"I said it earlier, the mentality and people are almost the same as in Kosovo, especially the food. I had a good time here and I enjoyed it", said the Vushtrri football player first.

"The food? We also have pie in Kosovo, and also tea, especially in my town (Vushtrri). We drink a lot of tea all the time, so there are many things we have in common," continued the former Vitesse, Werder Bremen, Norwich City and Galatasaray player.

Rashica further showed that he understands some Turkish words, but that he will try to learn them through his wife.

"I know some words, some good things to say to my wife. There are some words I understand", added the offensive footballer, smiling.

"Language is very important. I'm not really that good with languages, but I always try, even if I make mistakes, I don't feel it, because if you don't try, you'll never know. My wife speaks Turkish and I think it will be a little easier for me to try to learn and understand more", concluded Rashica. He will be available to the coach from next weekend's game.
