The dilemmas end, Calhanoglu's future is "sealed"

The meeting held in Milan between Inter and Galatasaray has put an end to speculation about the future of Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkish midfielder will remain at Inter, as the Italian club have set a minimum price of €30m and are not willing to negotiate for less. Galatasaray, despite showing interest, did not submit an official offer and backed out when they realised there was no room for negotiation. A previous unofficial offer of around €10-17m was deemed insufficient by Inter.

It is reported from Turkey that the club will now focus on the transfer of Victor Osimhen from Napoli. Meanwhile, Calhanoglu will join Inter in the training camp on July 26 at Appiano Gentile. Relations between him and the club have cooled after comments made by captain Lautaro Martinez and president Marotta after the elimination from the Club World Cup. However, the player has not officially requested a departure and is ready to continue his adventure in Milan.
