Manchester United disappoints, Amorim: We are probably the worst team in history

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim remains committed to his tactical philosophy despite the club's difficult period. The 3-1 defeat to Brighton at Old Trafford marked the Red Devils' 10th defeat of the season, a statistic that has raised serious concerns. The situation has left United facing one of the weakest seasons in the club's history in the Premier League.

The statistics are unforgiving for Amorim and his team. Since the Portuguese took charge in November, United have collected just 11 points from a possible 33. For the first time since the 1989-90 season, Manchester United have lost 10 of their opening 22 games of a season, reflecting a dramatic decline by previous standards.

However, Amorim remains clear in his message; he has no intention of abandoning his tactical approach.

"I know that our results are not good at all, but I will not change no matter what! I also know that we can succeed, but we have to survive at this moment! So, we are probably the worst team in the history of Manchester United. I say this because we know it well and that we have to change it! What we need is to win the games," said Amorim.

United, currently in 13th place in the Premier League table with 26 points after 22 matches, are a long way from the European spot, 10 points behind Aston Villa in eighth place.
