The "Best of Sports 2024" Gala Evening took place on Monday in the city of Korça, where the 10 best athletes in the region, representatives from various sports disciplines, were honored.

The event was held at the "Andon Zako Çajupi" theater with the participation of sports personalities and many other guests.

The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, welcomed the Gala Evening through a video message, praising the organizers and congratulating the athletes on their successes during 2024.

In his message, he stressed the importance of further investment in sports infrastructure to pave the way for further achievements in the future.

Honorable attendees, dignitaries and guests!

It is a special pleasure for me to be part of this extraordinary evening where the 10 best athletes of the Korça region for 2024 are evaluated, even virtually.

The excellent sporting tradition of this region, from football, athletics, to other sports disciplines, is a precious asset for Albanian sports and an inspiration for future generations.

I congratulate you on this organization and I greatly appreciate the fact that you have come together to celebrate the achievements of Korça sports at a gala event.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the winners who, with their talent and dedication, have raised the name of the Korça region. You represent a great source of pride for the people of Korça.

I invite you to continue our joint efforts to improve the infrastructure and sports facilities in the Korça area, as it is a very important aspect that requires all of our attention.

Korça is a sports-loving city and for many years has been distinguished for producing elite elements in various sports.

Heartfelt thanks to the organizers of this important event and congratulations to all the athletes who are part of this Gala evening today. I wish that the success of sports in Korça, and especially football, will continue to shine in the future!
