The frenzy after the Piacenza-Novara match, which ended 1-1, featured Tunisian defender Yohan Benalouane punching an ultras from the opposing fans just outside the stadium.

The player, as reported by "La Gazzetta dello Sport", had left the stadium fence, where the team bus was parked, to go get some personal items from his colleague Galuppini's car.

On the way he was stopped by a group of local fans, with whom an argument immediately began which ended with Benalouane punching one of them in the face, a familiar face in the city, who ended up on the ground and then in hospital making 10 stitches on the eyebrow.

The player was then escorted by the police to the police station for checking, being released late in the evening. Meanwhile, other fans gathered at the stadium and blocked the bus inside the stadium until 21:00.
