FIFA Congress in Canada, Armand Duka represents Albania

The Albanian Football Federation will participate in one of the most important events in world football, the 76th FIFA Congress, which will take place tomorrow, April 30, 2026 in Vancouver, Canada.

At this event of particular importance for global football decision-making, the Albanian Football Association will be represented by President Armand Duka.

The Congress will bring together representatives from all 211 member associations and is the highest decision-making platform in international football. Canada is hosting the event for the second time in its history, after hosting it in Montreal in 1976.

The proceedings will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre, where the focus will be on important issues for the development of football at a global level. The agenda includes FIFA's annual report, analysis of activities and financial statements for 2025, as well as the approval of budgets for the 2027 to 2030 cycle.

Other important topics will also be addressed, such as elections to FIFA structures, proposals from member federations, and updates on the global initiative against racism.

The participation of the AFF in this Congress confirms its commitment to being an active part of international decision-making processes, while Albanian football will be represented at this highest level forum by President Armand Duka.
