Albania U-16 for boys will participate in the "UEFA Development" tournament for this age group that will take place in our country on May 2, 4 and 7. The Reds have started preparations since Saturday afternoon and will train intensively during these days under the orders of coach Ervin Bulku and the technical staff in Durrës.

In addition to the U-16 National Team, the representatives of Moldova, Azerbaijan and the Faroe Islands will also participate in this tournament, as all matches will take place for the first time in the "House of Football" in Tirana. After the first training session with the red and blacks, coach Ervin Bulku gave a statement to " Fshf.org ", where he talked about the selected players and the objectives of the U-16 representative in this tournament.

Bulku emphasizes that this activity is a very good opportunity for the new group of Reds and Blacks to show their qualities, as well as to form the team that will represent Albania in the upcoming European Championship qualifiers.

"This is the first gathering after a long time. It is a new group of players who came from the U-15 national team, while three of them were also part of the U-17 national team in the 'Elite Round' matches. We are ahead of a very important tournament, second in importance after the European. It is a tournament and the same format as the European, where all players will be given the opportunity to show their qualities. Based on the values ??that the players display, but even with the friendlies that we will do in the following months, we will continue to form the group" , - said the red and black technician, who also spoke about the players invited to this gathering for the "UEFA Development" tournament.

"They are players tested by us in friendlies, followed by us. Most of the players have been part of the group. Now we have players who have approached for the first time, while we also have players who have not been allowed by their teams, such as players from Inter and Juventus. But I hope that in the next friendly we will have the whole full group, as it is a new group that is being rebuilt. We will do our best to win the tournament and then continue on our way to form the best possible group to represent Albania in the European championship", - emphasized coach Bulku.
