The summer transfer window is expected to bring significant developments in European football, and one of the most talked about names is that of Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali. According to recent reports from Italian media, Juventus have targeted the Newcastle player as the main target for strengthening the midfield department next season. A potential transfer that would represent a major blow in the transfer market for the “Old Lady”, in the aim of restoring glory in Italian and European football.

Juventus' desire to secure Tonali's services is clear and determined. The club's sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is working intensively to create the right conditions for an agreement, but negotiations with the English club are not expected to be easy at all. Newcastle consider the Italian midfielder an important asset for the long-term project and are not willing to negotiate for a price below 70 million euros, a sum that represents not only the player's sporting value, but also the investment that the English made to transfer him from Milan.

To reduce the financial demands, Juventus are considering the possibility of including a player in the deal. Initially, Douglas Luiz was rumored, but recently attention has focused on Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic. The latter is not having a good moment in Turin and it seems that his departure at the end of the season is inevitable.

The introduction of Vlahovic into the negotiations is seen as a strategic move by the Black and Whites to convince Newcastle to give up their high financial demands.
