The Premier League club officially appoints the new coach, the 75-year-old takes over the leadership of the "Eagles" for the third time

After the sacking of Patrick Vieira, Crystal Palace has made its coach official. Roy Hodgson returns to the bench at the age of 75, while he will manage the Crystal Palace team until the end of the season.

The news of Hodgson's return was made public by the "eagles" club itself on social networks.

"Roy Hodgson has been appointed Crystal Palace manager until the end of the season. Paddy Mcarthy will take on the role of his assistant and Ray Lewington will return as first team coach. Dean Kiely remains in his position as goalkeeping coach. Welcome, Roy." - writes Crystal Palace.

Hodgson returns to the Premier League club, having previously managed Palace from 2017-2018 and in the 2020-2021 season.
