Italy leaves all countries behind, here is the UEFA ranking

Victories by Roma, AC Milan and Fiorentina in the first leg of the Europa League last 16 stage allow Italy to gain valuable points in the UEFA rankings, useful to bring the Serie A fifth-placed team A in the Champions League next season.

Italy extend their lead, (now on 16,571 points), with Germany (a draw and a win) on 15,500, but again gaining ground on England, who are now closely followed by France.

With the departure of Lazio, Italy has lost its first club this European season: currently Inter, Napoli, Milan, Roma, Atalanta and Fiorentina remain in the running.
