Inter terminates relations with the main sponsor, due to non-payment

Inter has severed relations with the main sponsor, "Digitalbits", already destined to disappear from the black jerseys by the end of October.

According to "Gazzetta dello Sport", the severance of relations between the club and the cryptocurrency company has become inevitable due to late payments, which already during the summer had prompted Inter to hide the brand from its official channels.

In 2021/22 "Digitalbits" had been the sponsor on the shirt sleeve and was then promoted as the main sponsor on the shirt, where the agreement provided for a payment of 85 million euros over 4 years.

However, the first installment of the new season's payments had not happened and at the end of July the decision of the black and white to remove the visibility of the brand on its internet platforms, as well as to remove it from the women's team and from the team young people.

Now the final stop of the cooperation has happened, but of course also the need to find a replacement as soon as possible. Inter is already looking for a new partner, although it is not excluded that the black jersey will remain empty until the end of the season.
