Deadly earthquake/ Turkish Federation: Two clubs announced their departure

The President of the Turkish Football Federation, Mehmet Buyukek?i, during today's press conference, announced some important decisions:

" We had decided to postpone the calendar for just one week, but our pain is great, so the championship will resume on March 3."

While he further informed that after the Hatayspor club, Gaziantep, the team from the most affected city and with the highest number of victims in Turkey, has also announced its withdrawal.

"The Hatayspor club sent a letter today, they informed us that they do not want to play any more matches this season, if Gaziantep also decides to withdraw from the league, we will continue with 17 teams, provided that the rights from these two clubs remain intact .” he said.
