Premier League probe Manchester City risk expulsion

Manchester City is accused of violating the financial rules of the Premier League for a full 9 years. The Premier League has been rocked by the revelations of Football Leaks. Now in its communiqué the English League underlines that the club is accused of not having provided accurate financial information, "in particular in terms of income, including sponsorships, related parties and operating costs".

City is also accused of not having completely transparently distributed the costs related to salaries, among others for the contract with coach Roberto Mancini, of not having respected the Fair Play of UEFA, of having violated the rules related to benefits and that he did not co-operate with the Premier League in the investigation.
