Giroud: I only had Milan in my mind

A few days ago, Olivier Giroud and Milan decided to continue the cooperation with the Frenchman who renewed his contract with the Reds until 2024, with the option of renewing for another season. In a recent interview for L'Equipe, the striker says that after the World Cup he could make other choices in his career, but his only thought was Milan.

"The renewal was the compensation of two very beautiful years with Milan. I won a championship in Italy and I adapted very quickly. I have the trust of the club and I have been very well received by the fans, we were all convinced to continue this adventure.

I still have many goals to accomplish. Did I have temptations for other choices? The truth is that after the World Cup I could do whatever I wanted and wish for other challenges, but the only idea was to continue this adventure with Milan at least until June 2024," said Giroud.
