The close associate sinks serious accusations of sexual harassment against the former president of the FFF

Florence Hardouin, the former director general of the French Football Federation (FFF), has filed a lawsuit for moral and sexual harassment against her mentor, the resigned president, Noël Le Graët.

As "Le Monde" newspaper revealed on Thursday, Hardouin is seeking damages of more than 2.5 million euros.

The complaint came after the former number 2 of the FFF was questioned by police investigators dealing with the case of alleged abuses of "Le Graët".

The interrogations will continue in the following weeks, so new lawsuits are not excluded.

Hardouin was removed from her post on January 11, a day after she claimed, before an internal inspection ordered by Sports Minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, that she had suffered harassment.

During questioning at the time, she accused Le Graët of "humiliating and sexist insults, inappropriate and intimidating behavior often associated with excessive alcoholism", in addition to "inappropriate dinner invitations and repeated questions about her intimate life and private".

The general director assured that she was not the only victim of the FFF president, who has always denied these accusations.

Employed at FFF since 2008, on February 24 she was notified of her dismissal. She has complained to the labor courts, considering that there are various irregularities.

For this reason, she requests 650 thousand euros as compensation for her dismissal, the same amount for harassment and the same amount for lack of protection.

Another 640,000 euros are added to the amount for not renewing her mandate in the UEFA Executive Committee and another 20,000 euros for legal expenses, totaling more than 2.5 million euros.

Le Graët resigned on February 28 under pressure from the Minister of Sports due to various allegations of sexual harassment.
