Olmos' contract with Barcelona was also updated with this request. Thus, in August, a new clause was included in the contract of the Spanish star, who agreed to sign up for only half a season, but on the condition that he can freely leave the club if he does not sign up in January for the entire current season.

Barcelona therefore launched a fundraising campaign to enable the normal operation of the club and Olmo's registration in La Liga.
