Skenderbeu was declared the champion of the First Category and one of the footballers who made a great contribution to the realization of this objective was the Ghanaian Randi Dumfur. The red-and-white defender came to Korça only in the January market, having the opportunity to contribute in half of the season, but his experience significantly helped to increase the quality of play of the Korça team. In a statement for "Panorama Sport", Randi talks about the difficulties the team encountered towards the title of returning to the elite of Albanian football, while also stating that he and the other players feel ready for the new season.

"I'm sorry that I came late and I couldn't give my contribution at the beginning of the season. When I arrived at the team, in the winter market, the situation was not the best possible, as we were 7 points away from the first place and it seemed very difficult to achieve the objective that the leaders had set for us.

Anyway, we are Skenderbeu and we have shown that we know how to react in difficult moments. We did the same this edition, where with coach Ivan Gvozdenovi? we managed to have a fantastic performance. In the end, we were rewarded with promotion to Superiore, but also with the title of champion in the First Category. It is without a doubt the credit of the coach, who brought us together and made us play as a group", said the 22-year-old, who fits in defense and midfield, while he was part of the red and white team in Superiore as well.

Randi also expressed that he is looking forward to the start of the new season, while in his speech, he emphasizes that he owes Skenderbeu that fall in the First Category two years ago. "Currently I'm enjoying the holidays, but I'm looking forward to returning to Korça to start preparations for the new season. I am confident that the managers will build a competitive team in this category and we will be the Skanderbeg that the fans deserve.

I owe a lot to this team, as it has given me a lot personally, and we will try hard to atone for the mistake of two years ago, when we knocked the team down in the First. I am convinced and I have a lot of faith that we will have a great season, as we do not lack support, both from the club and from the fans, who for me are the best in Albania", concluded Randi, who played 13 games and scored a goal for the red and white in the First Division. He has been part of Skanderbeg since 2020.
