Barcelona chooses the new coach, the details of the agreement are revealed

Barcelona has closed the deal with the new coach. Hansi Flick will sit on the bench of the Catalans for the next season.

The German technician will succeed the departed Xavi Hernandez. The agreement between the Spanish club and Flick has been closed, while only formalization is missing.

The former coach of Bayern and Germany will sign a two-year contract, which will be valid until the summer of 2026.

In the event that the team convinces with its performances and returns to winning trophies, the possibility of renewing the contract is not excluded.

Flick will return to the bench of a team, after a year's rest, when he left the management of Germany.

In his career, the 59-year-old also managed Bayern Munich, where, due to the trophies he won, he also stood out as a coach.

Flick had long expressed his desire to take charge of Barcelona and the talks with the management went very well.

With the deal closed, all that's left is the official announcement, which is ready.
