The Balkans of Kosovo sets a record in Europe

The Balkan club has written history by registering for the first time the presence of a Kosovar team in the group stage of UEFA competitions. And in doing so, it has set a UEFA record that is hard to break.

The Balkan team has qualified in the groups of the Conference League since its first participation in the international arena. Thus, it had one of the lowest coefficients among the teams that have participated in this edition in all UEFA international tournaments, only 1.633 at the start of the European journey.

Balkan managed to reach the groups of the tournament, becoming the team with the lowest coefficient ever to reach this stage in the Conference League. The previous record was held by Mura with a coefficient of 3 last year, a difference that best shows how difficult it is that the Balkans have achieved.

Clearly, this coefficient positions it in the fourth pot of this tournament for the draw that will be made this Friday and where the Kosovar team will learn the opponents it will face for the group stage.
