Bale returns to football? His manager tells the truth

Gareth Bale will not return to playing football. Jonathan Barnett, Bale's manager, rejected the rumors that made the former Welsh footballer a part of Wrexham (one of the owners of this club claimed it).

“Gareth, listen, you're a young man and you have the rest of your life to live where you want, how you want. If you could come back for one last year of glory… Call me,” Rob McElhenney had stated.

However, Barnett clarified the issue very quickly, stating that his client simply "doesn't want to play football anymore".

"He is pleased by the offers, but they are not real. He is living a wonderful life at the moment. He was probably the best British footballer in history. He is with his family, which is the most important thing. He's spending a lot of time with his kids and that's what he wants to do.

Now he is taking a well-deserved break. They (Reynolds and McElhenney) haven't actually called me. They may have spoken to Gareth, but Gareth doesn't want to play football anymore. He's had a great career and he's enjoyed it, but now he's living a great life," the Welshman's manager explained.
