His father wanted to make him a skier, meet Dean Vraniç, the Albanian fantasist from Parma

Dean Vraniçi has clear ideas, he will one day become the best player in the world. A difficult mission and the Albania U-19 midfielder himself knows it well. However, he will work hard to achieve his goals, one of which is to play in the elite of Italian football. Currently, the fantasist is part of Parma's youth team and if it wasn't for his desire, he probably wouldn't be playing football today. His father wanted to include him in another sport, skiing, as Dean confesses in the column "Albanian talent". The young man, who turns 18 in January, tells how he started playing football, who supports him the most and remembers when he was invited to the National Team for the first time and how he felt defending the red and black jersey.

Dean, how did your relationship with football begin? Who is the person who pushed you towards this sport?

My relationship with football started when I was little. My father wanted to introduce me to skiing, as it was a very popular sport in the country where we lived. I just wanted to play football.

Who is the person who advises you the most about football and who is closest to you?

The person who gives me the most advice and follows me on all kinds of things related to football is my father, because he was a football player himself at high levels in Albania.

How did you feel when you first received the invitation from Albania U16? What do you remember from your debut?

When I received the invitation for the first time, I was very happy, it was my dream to play for the Albanian national team. My family was also very pleased. I was invited to a UEFA tournament for the first time. I didn't play in the first match against Ireland, in the second against Peru I was active in the last 10 minutes and scored a goal.

In Albania, we have seen you play in several positions. Where do you like to play the most?

Coach Bulku activates me as a wing midfielder or wing forward, since the National Team does not play with three-quarters. Here in Italy, in Parma, I play with number 10 as a three-quarter player, after the attack. That has always been my role here. I like to play as a trio.

In Italy, there are now a large number of Albanians who are playing in Serie A. How do you feel about this and how much confidence does it give you that very soon you will join them?

In Italy, the level of football is certainly high, but I believe in myself that I will achieve my goal of playing in Serie A.

Who is the Albanian player that motivates you the most, that you have as an example? Are you compared to any famous footballer and why?

To be honest, I don't have a player that I have as an example. I've always played the way I know how. Every year I try to improve and show my values ??on the field, with my game. There are no comparisons at this time.

Personally, what is your biggest goal in football? Is there a footballer whose footsteps you would like to follow?

My biggest goal is to become the best player in the world and to repay all the trouble to my family and people close to me. It takes a lot, a lot of work to achieve it.
