The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has published the video where the Assembly can be seen surrounded by a metal fence.

Bardhi says that the Assembly has turned into Pëllumb Gjoka's cell with bars.

He calls the siege of the Parliament an act that shames Albania.

"This is the Parliament of Albania this morning! Its main door is surrounded by bars and more security forces than MPs.

Albania thus becomes the only country that, on the one hand, is a member of NATO and a candidate country for the European Union, and on the other hand surrounds the main entrance of the Assembly to protect it from "enemy" deputies!

The Assembly is not a prison and neither is a prison cell, even though most of the representatives of the ruling majority should be in prison and not in that hall.

The transformation of the Assembly into the "barred cell" of Pëllumb Gjoka and his ilk is an act that shames Albania and every Albanian!", writes Bardhi./ CNA
