DP MP Belind Këlliçi spoke about the political situation in the country.

In an interview with the media, Këlliçi said that the aim of the re-establishment was not only for the DP but for the opposition as a whole, a process that according to him has taken 1 year.

According to the MP, the DP is facing a military unit with patronage workers who have turned the state into an electoral machine.

“Ne kemi qenë  në një cikël të rithemelimit të opozitës dhe jo vetëm të PD-së . A ka marrë kjo kohën mjaftueshëm? Ka marrë pothuajse 1 vit, ka pasur shumë debat. Ne kemi edhe të pakënaqur brenda PD, por e rëndësishme është që ka zgjedhje në PD, vendos vota. Ndërkohë nga ana tjetër ke një repart ushtarak që me patronazhistët së bashku e ka kthyer të gjithë shtetin në një makinë elektorale. Rama mund të jetë ndjerë komod sepse nuk ka pasur një opozitë të vërtetë përballë, por nga ky moment, PD dhe unë personalisht nuk do të kemi justifikime për të thënë që kemi qenë të zënë apo kemi pasur ngarkesë për shkak të punëve tona. Ne duhet  të jemi  në ballë të protestave dhe organizmit të aktiviteteve që është në mbrojtje të interesit të qytetarëve”, tha Këlliçi.

The PD MP and member of the Presidency further added that politics should serve the citizens so that the latter do not leave the country.

"If we want to stay in this country, politics must serve the citizen. If qualified and educated young people continue to flee this country, it will be a big problem. Then we should not be surprised if there will be a need for a second decriminalization law, where we see persons with criminal records as deputies and ministers, who were made by Edi Rama. "So I judge that the PD and the opposition will pass the fire test", he said. /CNA.al
