The candidate of the SP for the Municipality of Berat, Ervin Demo, has stated that thanks to his work in his first mandate, Berat has been transformed by bringing more tourists and development.

During an interview with the media, he emphasized that 2024 will be the year of Berat after revealing the plan for infrastructure and intervention in public spaces.

Dema said that he planned for the city center to undergo a total rehabilitation, an intervention that, according to him, will give Berat the missing image.

Among other things, he said that during this campaign he chose not to make promises but to focus on work.

 "I chose not to come out with promises. What we have done, and everyone understands, the municipality is a big house and things need to be fixed, but one thing is certain: we have broken the myths that Berat cannot be done, we have restored the trust of the citizens, that the life of their can be improved. We intervened in rural areas. The Beratas have split their minds and see how he is changing," he said.

He further expressed his confidence in the victory, underestimating his political opponent.

 "I don't deal with the candidate in front of me. There is no simple race and this race for me will show that work is worth more than words. For me, it should show where Berat is heading and how the city can change even in a short time.
