Former diplomat, Agim Nesho spoke about the latest developments at the Brussels summit, where Albania received another 'NO' for the opening of negotiations from the EU.

Nesho said the main reason was the non-fulfillment of criteria and standards by these countries and not the Bulgarian veto.

 “Deri tani Ballkani Perëndimor është trajtuar në bazë të kritereve që duhen përmbushur dhe këto vende janë shumë larg atyre standarteve që duhet të arrijnë për t’u anëtarësuar në BE. Nëse Europa e Bashkuar mendojnë një moment politik, kjo është dicka pozitive, duhet të reflektojë edhe në politikën ballkanike por duke nxjerrë përgjegjësi mbi reformat që nuk janë zbatuar.

Nuk është e nevojshme të dënohet Europa se nuk ka një vendimmarrje ose ka mangësi në mekanizmin e saj të zgjerimit por duhet të kemi konceptin e drejtë ashtu sikurse reflektoi Gjeorgjia që i kërkoi llogari qeverisë së saj dhe jo Europës”, tha Nesho.

Ndërsa më tej, ai tha se retorika e Ramës ishte e gabuar pasi kishte rënë pre e Vuçiç ndërkohë që ky i fundit ishte në pozicion tjetër pasi Serbia i ka hapur negociatat me BE-në.
