The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has reacted regarding the ranking by the Global Innovation Index for 2022, where Albania is ranked in the penultimate place.

He emphasizes that Albania has the weakest performance and that Rama has declared war on professionals and scientific research.

"Edi Rama's government has declared open war on professionals, knowledge and scientific research.

The clearest proof is the Global Innovation Index for 2022, which positions Albania last in the region and Europe.

The main reasons for this ranking are the serious lack of human and research resources, inadequate technological knowledge and inefficient market sophistication. Albania has the weakest performance in terms of knowledge production and technological production.

Meanwhile, other Balkan countries, such as North Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, are dozens of places higher.

The arrogant attitude and the total lack of support for the university, for lecturers and students by not giving them any concrete help is the only reason for this serious situation.
