Political scientist Ermal Hasimja shared a critical stance today regarding the level of parliamentarism in Albania.

Invited to the show 'Now', Hasimja said that the situation is worse than during the transition period, due to the arrogance of the government.

According to the political scientist, the 83 secure majority votes, which often become 86, show that the Socialists are in a kind of comfort.

"The level of parliament is what shows what is tolerable and what is not by voters. This kind of great power with 83 votes that become 86. It also gives you arrogance, that they become powerful. That such communications are not the first of this kind. There have been communications of this kind for years and years. The Albanian parliament, in terms of the quality of the deputies, is light years away from that parliament of the '90s. If you see that your votes continue and grow, regardless of what you say, the message you get is that you can do whatever you want.
