A "landfill" inside the QSUT

What is happening in the QSUT?/ When hospitals turn into hotbeds of infections

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

CNA has brought to the attention of public opinion a scandal that is led by the man himself, the individual.
For days we have been conducting an observation in the premises inside and around the QSUT. What we have found is scandalous, shameful, an animalistic behavior by the people themselves, who send their family members to the hospital.

They filmed environments filled with trash, plastic, and cigarette butts. An ugly, screaming, disgusting sight.

You can read the denunciations in the following articles.

Today we will address another concern, an ugly phenomenon that occurs precisely in hospital settings, which highlights another wound that is people's ignorance.
If we take, at least for the last 7 years, the whole world has been subjected to and is fighting viruses, infections that have led to hundreds of thousands of lost lives.

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

The whole world is on alert and is taking strict measures regarding hygiene, raising awareness among people to use protective measures, such as masks or other means, in closed environments, institutions, etc. But this is not happening in Albania, at least not in the premises of the QSUT.

What we have found is scandalous. Groups of people, 10-20 people, gather inside the hospital or in the corridors, filling the corridors or lobbies.

At a time when we are in flu season and doctors are appealing and saying that cases of the virus have increased, in hospitals we have people standing in groups, they can be heard coughing, making noise, creating an environment that is more like a "cafe" than a hospital.

Even those who send their family members to hospitals, to undergo surgery, to be treated, or to receive medical assistance, do not even respect the minimum hygiene conditions, not crowding, wearing a mask, or keeping a distance from other people or patients, for whom an infection or virus could worsen their health condition.

This is actually irresponsibility and ignorance. People who have neither the ethics nor the education to understand that a clean environment is essential in hospitals, but they themselves, with their own hands, make sure to turn it into a "trash can".

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

A real scandal, showing citizens (if we can call them that) entering without masks and congregating in the corridors, seriously endangering the health of hospitalized patients and medical staff.

Despite clear warnings about protective measures and physical distancing, many people are showing total irresponsibility. They move around the wards, meet in groups and often ignore any safety rules. This behavior is not only dangerous, but truly incomprehensible, transforming hospitals into potential hotbeds of infection.

The weakest patients, the chronically ill, and those who have recently undergone surgery are at high risk due to this lack of discipline.

People who enter hospital or emergency rooms at any time, without respecting any regulations, without taking any protective measures, whether for themselves or their patients or family members, this shows the ignorance and irresponsibility of the individuals themselves.

Medical staff, who strive to maintain safety, often feel helpless in the face of the irresponsibility of patient visitors.

The consequences that this ignorance and lack of responsibility can bring, tolerating this phenomenon can lead to infectious outbreaks within hospitals, endangering not only patients, but also the wider community.

Irresponsibility in hospitals is a phenomenon that should no longer be tolerated!/CNA

SCANDAL/ "How good it would be to be Albanian", the garbage in the emergency room of the QSUT

A "landfill" inside the QSUT
Photo from the QSUT emergency room

CNA has denounced another scandal, where the protagonists this time are not the institutions, but the citizens themselves.

In the areas surrounding the QSUT, at the entrances to the hospital buildings, and in the QSUT emergency room, the sight you encounter is cigarettes and plastic thrown everywhere.

Cigarettes and water bottles flying from the windows are the ugliest sight we can see in the premises of a University Hospital Center, where all of Albania, citizens from every city, head to receive services, perform surgeries, treatments, etc.

An act of irresponsibility, almost criminal, committed by the very families of hospitalized patients, who lack even the minimum of ethics or awareness of environmental pollution.

"Ignorance" is frightening, as is the fact that they do not think that environmental pollution is a "bill" that is paid by man himself, with his health, by the acts of each of those who throw cigarettes in the corridors, stairs, or as in these photos that we will bring today.

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

This is a scandalous act that actually shows a lot about the irresponsibility of citizens. Where the sick receive treatment, are hospitalized, and stay for days, on the other side of the coin we have these images that further embarrass citizens and cause harm to human health.

We live in a country with people where the expression "how good it would be to be Albanian" only makes sense in stadiums, as seeing these images is a great shame that covers the people who commit these acts, as well as the entire society that does not react to such a phenomenon.

These images that CNA is bringing are an alarm bell, which more than a denunciation should serve as an awareness and message to stop environmental pollution, especially in the QSUT.

An investment of millions of euros, which is being reduced by the taxpayers themselves to a cigarette shelter. Look at these images which show shameful behavior, as if they are on the street, forgetting that there are sick people in the hospital, in serious condition, when in fact it is their own family members who are bringing the surrounding environment to a state like this.

Not to mention their accumulation in hospital corridors, where they become a potential danger to patients, as they can contaminate the sick with the virus, but that belongs to another article.

Let's return to the main problem that stems first from the individual, from the people themselves, the citizens who go to the emergency room to accompany their sick family members and commit such acts, who, first of all, should know that people are not animals, because as you see these cases, you realize that even dogs are more educated.

Look at the premises. Trash, cigarette butts, plastic cups scattered everywhere!

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

What is the fault of the sanitation workers for the actions of the people themselves? The fact that there are sanitation workers who take care of the cleanliness of the hospital premises does not mean that cigarettes, cups, or plastic bottles should be thrown in the corridors or around.

Why isn't the opposite done? For a citizen to pick up trash and throw it in the right place, but we have animalistic, disgusting behavior?

But we have sanitation workers who every day throw away mountains of cigarettes or plastic bottles from citizens who confuse the hospital with coffee, where after drinking the coffee or water, the worst case scenario is that they end up falling out of windows or being left on their ledges.

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

For this animalistic behavior, the individual is responsible. It should be in his education not to pollute the environment that surrounds him, much less the premises in hospitals. The first is the person himself who must have the ethics and morality not to throw away garbage, then the responsibility passes to the institutions.

It is painful and shameful that a place like QSUT, which should be shining, has been turned by such animalistic behavior into a place where you find people throwing trash out the window and bringing street culture./ CNA

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

In the emergency room of the QSUT where thousands and thousands of people are treated every day, citizens who receive service, beyond the heroism of the doctors, the nursing staff and the service, in a simple observation you are faced with the other side of the coin "Oh, how good it is to be Albanian".

We are patriots, we shout, we scream, we are fans, we are the nation, we are the homeland, but in the final we don't even have the minimum culture to respect a patient, a family member, a sick person in an emergency.

Beyond the trash we throw on the streets, or the spit on the sidewalk, in the emergency room there is a passage for family members, who go to their relatives to check on their health status, but what happens is the most criminal.

The corridors full of people create noise and beyond the noise you see crazy, ignorant, stupid, animals, there is no exact term to define them, who smoke cigarettes in the emergency corridors. They are sick with viruses and go to visit patients who have had surgery. We are only bringing up the case of cigarettes.

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

In the photo above, there is the entrance shelter where family members must pass and on the 6 floors of the QSUT emergency room where various resuscitations take place, where hundreds of patients are present, cigarettes are lit in the corridors and thrown out the window.

A "landfill" inside the QSUT

Look at the photos, they are at the entrance shelter, there are cigarette butts there and it's a good thing they haven't been cleaned, let them see them, take pictures. Let the media report the banal behavior of irresponsible family members who smoke cigarettes in the emergency corridors, throw cigarette butts out of the windows.

CNA has conducted an observation in several areas of the QSUT emergency room, in the surrounding areas, we filmed in the entrance, on the floors, where beyond the service and care provided by doctors, nurses, and sanitation workers, you will see a banal, disgusting, disgusting behavior to the point of animalism, of people, of citizens, who perhaps should not be called such by those who go inside the QSUT premises, where thousands and thousands of people receive assistance every day and an investment that is perhaps problematic since it requires more new equipment, more care, more staff, etc., is located in the face of war with people.

Not with the patients, with their relatives, with those who go and instead of helping, see in the photos below what they cause.

Films that CNA will continue to publish in the coming days, to see what kind of situation the Albanian citizens who, in these cases, are not showing any citizenship, have caused in the emergency room of the QSUT. /CNA
