Study: People who consume more than one glass of alcohol per week are more addicted to social networks

A study reveals that if you consume alcohol more than once a week, it indicates that you have an addictive personality.

This is an indication that it is easier for you to obsess over things like the Internet, video games, or exercise than a person who does not consume alcohol.

Researchers from Semmelweis University in Hungary identified several genes that each cause multiple addictive behaviors, including substance use.

Their findings not only suggest that different addictions are linked, but also that some of us are more susceptible to them because of our genetic makeup.

Many studies have linked alcohol, drug and gambling addiction to genetics and sought to identify variants responsible for susceptibility.

However, the authors of the new study say that each of them links a particular type of addiction to genetic variants./ CNA.al
