Global star Rihanna has reportedly left Los Angeles following the terrifying incident at her Beverly Hills home, where a gunman fired shots at the singer's property.

Los Angeles police responded to calls of shots fired around 1:15 p.m. Sunday, and sources told the Los Angeles Times that Rihanna was home at the time, but thankfully no one was injured.

According to TMZ, Rihanna was spotted boarding a plane from Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, while her bags were being transported to Van Nuys Airport. Authorities arrested 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, who was charged with attempted murder.

The attacker reportedly used an AR-15 rifle and fired from a car into the house, one bullet penetrating the wall of the villa. Police quickly found her car, a white Tesla, about 8 miles away at the Sherman Oaks Galleria shopping center, where Ortiz was arrested. The LAPD said a search of the vehicle yielded an assault rifle and seven rounds of ammunition.

The motive for the incident has not yet been revealed, and reports do not indicate a personal connection between Ortiz and Rihanna. However, several media outlets reported that Ortiz had previously posted about the singer on social media.

The incident has shaken the Hollywood celebrity community and underscores the need for maximum security for public figures. Meanwhile, Rihanna has fled Los Angeles, trying to avoid further danger. /CNA
