Mariah Carey releases new album after seven years of hiatus

American singer Mariah Carey has announced the release of her long-awaited new album, titled 'Here For It All'.

The music diva and undisputed queen of the Christmas charts will return to her albums on September 26th via Gamma Records.

The news was revealed through a short video on social media, where Carey shared a snippet of the album's lead song.

Carey had given a first taste of 'Here For It All' with the release of 'Type Dangerous' in early June.

The song, composed by Anderson Paak, who is said to be the executive producer of the entire project, is an "oldie" song in Carey's classic form, while the music video also features famous Youtuber MrBeast.

Although details about the album are still scarce, Carey has hinted on social media that the second song will be titled "Sugar Sweet . "/CNA
