Yesterday, Blendi Fevziu, invited to the "ABC morning show", talked about the relationship with his two daughters, Alis and Mishel.
Asked if he minded the fact that he doesn't have a son, Blendi says that it doesn't bother him at all.
"I didn't have this worry at all. Even the second time when I found out it was a girl, I was actually even happier, because I thought the big girl would have a friend."

This is perhaps not a very pompous sentence, but in fact in a society like ours, where we still think that a boy is a greater joy than a girl, and where the mother is congratulated in two different ways for the pregnancy based on gender, this the sentence conveys a beautiful and courageous message.

I believe that we have all heard that when a mother is expecting a son, they congratulate her by saying "Long life", while when the mother is expecting a girl, she is congratulated "Don't be bored".
