Singer cancels concerts due to Tourette's syndrome

Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has canceled his concert tour due to Tourette's syndrome.

This decision comes after in his last concert, the singer could not perform due to the crisis he suffered.

 "Firstly, thank you Glastonbury for singing with me and for all the amazing messages afterwards," he said in a statement.

Tourette syndrome is a neurological disorder that causes individuals to make involuntary sounds and movements, often referred to as tics.

Capaldi revealed last September that he had been diagnosed with the condition.

Capaldi, 26, was due to perform in Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday.

His tour would continue in countries such as Australia, South Korea and Iceland, among others, culminating in the United Arab Emirates on October 7.

In his statement, Capaldi said he was "still learning to adapt to the impact of Tourette's and it became clear on Saturday that he needed to spend much more time getting his mental and physical health in order so that continue to do whatever he wanted for a long time.”
