The singer Devis Xerahu, moved, narrated the last moments with his late father.

During an interview with journalist Erjona Rusi, Xerahu talked about his father's American dream.

He says that in 2007 when he returned from his tours in America, he met his father and told him about his adventure, making him extremely happy.

After spending happy moments with his father, Xherahu said he was heading to Tirana for a concert when his mother called him to tell him the sad news.

Këngëtari shprehet se prej kohësh ka një peng, duke thënë se ndoshta emocioni i bukur ndikon tek njerëzit dhe se ndoshta i dha të atit më shumë emocione seç mund të përballonte zemra e tij.

“Më ngacmove aty ku më dhemb. Ka qenë viti 2007 isha në një turne në Amerikë, unë trashëgova ëndrrën amerikanë nga babi im, pasi bëra turneun në 9 shtete të Amerikës dhe dy të Kanadasë, bij në Korçë më priste babi, i tregova për Amerikën dhe ai u emocionua pa masë, pimë verë atë ditë, morëm kitarën dhe kënduam, ëndrra re tij u bë realitet dhe ai ishte i ngopur.

I have a pledge that maybe even the beautiful emotion affects people and the dream he had for America, maybe I gave him more joy than what his heart could hold", said Davis Xerahu.
