VIDEO- Rare / Lightning 'conquers' the sky, a rainbow appears in a corner

Storms, lightning and rainbows swept across the skies of California this week. William Justo was the meteorologist who recorded this rare phenomenon in the sky.

"I was following a stationary storm zone in Hollister, CA around sunset and it happened that a rainbow appeared during the storm ," Justo said.

" I used the iPhone 8 Plus hoping to catch a lightning bolt with the rainbow and after a minute, it happened ."

Lightning often occurs during strong storms, while rainbows usually form after the rain has stopped, making the show in the sky a rare sight.

Lightning and rainbow is a phenomenon that rarely happens, according to the meteorologist./ CNA.al
