The armed robbery in Kavajë is solved/ the 25-year-old man is arrested

The police have arrested within 12 hours, the author of the theft at gunpoint, of a sum of money, in a market in Kavaja.

E. Sh., 25 years old, resident of Qerret, was captured by the police.

Police Notification:

The police identify, catch and arrest within 12 hours, the perpetrator of the theft at gunpoint, of a sum of money, in a market.

Thanks to the timely response, police intelligence and professional investigative actions, the 25-year-old resident of Qerret was identified, caught and imprisoned.

Immediately after the notification of the armed robbery of a sum of money, around 18:40, on 29.02.2024, in a food market, in Qerret, the services of the Kavajë Police Station have carried out the necessary investigative and procedural actions to identified the author of the case.

As a result of these actions, the monitoring of cameras and the work of police intelligence, within 12 hours, the suspected author of the case, citizen E. Sh., 25 years old, resident of Qerret, was identified, caught and imprisoned.

Work is underway for the full legal documentation of this case.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions./ CNA
