The police of Tirana clarified the dynamics of Gentjan Bejtja's murder, which happened in the village of Larushkë on March 15.

The perpetrators approached the residence of the citizen Gentjan Bejtja with a black "Land Rover Discover" brand vehicle and after committing the murder, they left with this same vehicle on the road axis Larushke - Thumane, after crossing the Fushë Kruja overpass, they returned. left and in the village of Hasan they burned the vehicle above.

Then the perpetrators left in a black "Golf" type vehicle, without a license plate on the back, following the interior from the place where the vehicle was burned in the direction of the main road Thumanë-Fushë Krujë, they turned right at the Fushë overpass Krujë and left in the direction of Bubq village, Krujë.

The Golf type vehicle with license plate AB960GG is owned by citizen EH, born in Milot, Kurbin and resident in Tirana.

This vehicle was also used by citizen IB, alias IB, alias IM, born in Milot, Kurbin and resident in Tirana.

The police were able to arrest the person with 3 identities as the perpetrator of the murder.

Meanwhile, shetatsi E. H was arrested for the criminal offense of "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder".

As we previously announced, on 15.03.2024, citizen Gentjan Bejtja was shot dead inside the enclosure of his apartment.

For the investigation of this serious criminal event, the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police has set up a special investigative group, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, has carried out and continues to carry out all the necessary investigative actions, on initiative or ordered by the Prosecutor.

From the entirety of the investigative actions, it has emerged that the perpetrators approached the residence of the citizen Gentjan Bejtja with a black "Land Rover Discover" brand vehicle and after committing the murder, they left with this same vehicle on the Larushkë - Thumanë road axis, after passing of the Fushë Kruja overpass, they turned left and in the village of Hasan they burned the vehicle above.

From the investigation, it has been proven that the perpetrators left with a black "Golf" type vehicle, without a license plate on the back, following the interior from the place where the vehicle was burned in the direction of the main road Thumanë-Fushë Krujë. deviated to the right at the crossing of Fushë Krujë and left towards the village of Bubq, Krujë.

From the analysis of the information received by the police intelligence as well as the surveillance and taking of the security cameras, it has become possible to identify the "Golf" type vehicle with license plate AB960GG, owned by the citizen EH, born in Milot, Kurbin and resident in Tirana.

It also turned out that this vehicle was also used by citizen IB, alias IB, alias IM, born in Milot, Kurbin and resident in Tirana.

On 19.03.2024, the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate made it possible to find and seize the black Golf type vehicle with license plate AB960GG owned by citizen EH and accompany it to the police premises.

In continuation of the investigative actions, it became possible to find and accompany the citizen IB, alias IB, alias IM to the police premises.

During the search of the residence of citizen IB, a pistol with the inscription VALTER with eight cartridges, a BENELLI brand firearm which was carried with the permission of the police authorities, a belt with twenty nine firearm cartridges, five devices such as radio transceivers with the inscription MIDLAND XT70, a passport of the Republic of Kosovo in the name of the Kosovar citizen BA, suspected to be forged as the photo is similar to the photo of the citizen IB, a card the identity of the Republic of Kosovo in the name of the Kosovar citizen BA, suspected to be forged as the photograph is similar to the photograph of the citizen IB, two mobile phones of the IPONE brand and one mobile phone of the SAMSUNG brand.

All administered evidence has been subjected to forensic examinations and elements of evidence have been secured with a perspective for the further investigation of the event.

In the end, shetasi IB, alias IB, alias IM, born on 21.04.1983, born in Milot, Kurbin and resident in Tirana, was arrested in the act for the criminal offenses "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and " Falsification of documents", provided by articles 278/2 and 186 of the Criminal Code.

Likewise, this citizen is suspected as one of the perpetrators of the murder of citizen Gentjan Bejtja.

Shetatsi EH, born on 30.07.1994, born in Milot, Kurbin and resident in Tirana, was arrested for committing the criminal offense of "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder", provided by Article 80 of the Criminal Code.

The special investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana continues with intensity the work for the full legal documentation of this serious criminal event, the identification and bringing to justice the other perpetrators as well.
